If you missed grabbing a copy of April’s Psychologies magazine there was a great article on energising habits – perfect for Spring.
I was kindly asked to contribute, and as a holistic practitioner, my advice of course was about reconnecting to ourselves on a mind, body and spirit level.
“Think of the mind, body, spirit trifecta like the three legs of a stool. If each leg is strong and stable the stool is useful and we subsequently enjoy a high level of vitality and energy.”
“Urban lifestyle and changes of season can commonly cause us to become disconnected, and if continued over a prolonged period pull us out of balance, which causes our energy levels to get depleted and we usually feel this first thing in the morning before we even start our day, which is different from being tired from strenuous activity or a long day at work.”
To boost your energy levels naturally, set aside a few minutes each day to do a body, mind and soul check in and listen to what your body is telling you. Your body will always know what we need. Once you know what you need, start doing it and your energy levels will increase. If the answers do not come initially, keep taking the time to inquire daily until they do – you’ll be thankful for the results.
